Careers

Our people don’t always fit the mould. They come from a variety of backgrounds and career paths. But what they all have in common is a shared passion for growing real businesses in the UK small and medium enterprise sector.

Whether we have specific opportunities or not, we never stop looking for dynamic and motivated people who share our values and can add value to our investments.

About you

The people we want to speak to are:

  • Entrepreneurial by instinct.
  • Hands on but strategic, with the ability to switch seamlessly from development project to operational intervention whenever the situation demands.
  • Able to mix with ‘corporate’ but not be constrained by it.
  • Familiar with the UK-wide business scene, and able to see beyond the London ‘bubble’.
  • All-rounders, able to offer broad commercial acumen and experience in addition to any specific functional expertise they may have.

You might be a graduate with a year or two of experience at a top consultancy, in private equity or a blue chip graduate programme. Now might be your time to look for a wider development opportunity.

Alternatively you might be post-MBA and looking beyond the normal corporate ladder for an opportunity which offers greater freedom, diversity and hands-on engagement.

Working at Bridgehill

However you come to us, a role with Bridgehill Partners offers a unique ‘real world’ entrepreneurial experience and the opportunity to develop broad and highly transferable skills.

You could quickly become involved in any or all of:

  • Strategic roles within acquisition companies, such as researching market and growth opportunities.
  • Handling challenging operational issues.
  • Supporting the deal process, whether preparing investment materials or taking day-to-day responsibility.
  • Reviewing new deal opportunities.

And much more besides.

If all of this sounds like you, and you’re looking for a challenge beyond the norms of private equity, investment or consultancy, we’d love to hear from you.

You should be UK based and have at least a couple of years’ experience as detailed above.

Specific functional expertise might be an advantage, but energy, attitude and a cultural fit are far and away the most important factors.
